Membership Guidelines

Eligibility & Age Requirements

Any individual 15 years & above interested in celebrating Indian culture in Oulu, Finland can become a member by paying the annual membership fee.

Note: No membership fee for individuals below 18 years. The cut-off date for age determination is 1 June 2026.

Membership Duration & Renewal

  • • Membership is valid for a duration of 1 year – AGM to AGM
  • • Membership is to be renewed annually
  • • Renewal fee/new membership fee is determined by the O-India Board after AGM
  • • Membership is open throughout the year for new people moving to Oulu
  • • Membership is non-transferable

Member Rights & Privileges

  • • Only members are eligible to participate in AGMs and in election of all relevant positions in O-India Board
  • • Only members are eligible to be part of O-India Board
  • • Only members and their children under 15 years are eligible for Members' discount for all O-India Ry events
  • • Existing WhatsApp group O-India ry will be updated based on new member registration

  • • Select age group: Adult (18 and above, €5 fee) or Student (15 to below 18, free).
  • • Registering family members below 18 is optional — skip them if you prefer.
  • • Each email entered becomes that member's identifier for the year — please note which email you used, as it unlocks member pricing for all 2026–27 events.
  • • Make sure all information is accurate.

3Payment & Receipt

  • • Enter payment date
  • • Upload ONE receipt that covers payment for all people being registered
  • • Review everything and submit
